No to the Olympics in Hamburg!

The Hamburg Senate would like to Hamburg promotes Olympics. An application is planned for the Summer Games 2036, 2040 or 2044. With one New stadium In the park, one Olympic Village in the planned Science City and Temporary arenas in the halls of the Mass and on the Heiligengeistfeld.

Hamburg has many serious problems, the Olympics do not solve – but exacerbate. Even now, the Senate and the Federal Government are showing no will to Tenancy crisis Getting to grips with more and more people Living on the street, Social institutions are fighting for survival.

The Olympics would have dramatic consequences for us Hamburgers.

Among others:

• Even more drastic increases in rents and gentrification
• Billions of Dollars Missing Elsewhere
• Movement restrictions due to construction sites and Olympic Lanes
• even more tourism
• Climate-damaging effects from flights and temporary infrastructure

Hamburg needs something better than the Olympics!
